    Ari Shahdadi has been the General Counsel of Tumblr, Inc. since May 2011, where he leads Tumblr's Legal, Policy, and Trust & Safety teams. Before joining Tumblr, Ari was an attorney in corporate and intellectual property transactions at Gunderson Dettmer in New York City and in intellectual property litigations at Fish & Richardson in Boston. Prior to his work as an attorney, Ari was a web application developer with Oracle Corporation. Ari graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, while working for Fish & Richardson, and from MIT with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Engineering.
