    Freelance Animator & Illustrator

    Manchester

Anna Smith is a freelance animator and illustrator based in Manchester, UK. She began animating at the age of 18 whilst studying English Literature at the University of Manchester.

She has since worked on a number of music and lyric videos from top international artists including James Blunt, KSI, Aurora, and The Regrettes. Since graduating from her degree in the summer of 2020, Anna has been working full time on live action and animated projects. She has recently turned her hand to filmmaking and documentary work, which has included shooting and directing a short documentary for Mumford and Sons.

Anna loves the ingenuity and community aspects of the creative industries, and constantly strives to bolster and support her fellow creative peers. In her spare time she loves to watch films, take dance lessons, produce music on her iPad, and fantasise about the day they finally fix the elevator in her apartment block so she can stop taking 9 flights of stairs (and a minimum of 3 rest breaks) up to her studio apartment in the city centre.
