Anna joined Yik Yak in June 2014 as the 2nd full-time hire. As Director of People and Culture she is responsible for overseeing people operations, including human resources and the company’s culture.
Prior to joining Yik Yak, Anna spent two years with Coatue Management, a New York based long-short tech hedge fund. There she helped build the operational infrastructure for Coatue when they established a presences in Silicon Valley and opened an office in Menlo Park, CA.
Anna graduated from North Carolina State University and swam for the Wolfpack’s Division 1 Swimming team. She was awarded Most Valuable Swimmer for four consecutive years. After graduation, Anna spent 2 years training for the 2012 summer Olympic Trials.
She grew up in Williamsburg, VA and currently resides in Brookhaven, GA with her husband. In her free time she enjoys swimming, surfing, skiing and yakking.
