Angela Toy has startups in her blood as entrepreneur, VC and portfolio manager. Now Director of Portfolio Strategy and Operations at Golden Gate Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in early stage internet and mobile related companies in Southeast Asia, Angela has also worked in financial institutions in areas ranging from audit assurance, regulatory compliance, sales and broking. Inspired to branch out in her own personal career pivot, she started her own e-commerce business. This startup experience then led to her joining Golden Gate Ventures in 2014, helping the firm with fund operations and deal executions. Currently, she assists the Partners with the overall management of the 50+ companies in the portfolio.
