Boston
Andy Norman’s leadership and management background is extensive and impressive. Mobiquity’s senior vice president of service delivery held executive positions with GlassHouse, an IT infrastructure consultant and service-managing company, before becoming its COO in 2008. He was managing director of Sagitta, a United Kingdom-based storage firm that he co-founded, when it was acquired by GlassHouse in 2004. Before that, he was with Xyratek and IBM in the UK.
He also writes a mean blog. On a trade mission to Europe, Norman observed, "The day was rounded off with dinner at Trinity College . . . Think Hogwarts. The combination of history, ceremony, innovation and science was an eclectic mix of time warping proportions. The UK could do with a dose of entrepreneurial magic. Where's Harry?"
Sponsored by IBM, Norman earned a bachelor of science in engineering and management systems from Brunel University in 1985 and master’s in engineering four years later, also from Brunel.
He resides in Wellesley, Mass.
