Andy is a futurist. He’s been a digital native since 1994, when he wrote a doc-umentary called "Secrets of the Internet." Along with his love of digital, Andy is inspired by scientists: brilliant people who make surreal discoveries and work to transform reality. Now, as one of the early pioneers of the service design industry, Andy helps the world’s biggest brands transform reality through innovative design.

After spending years in the games and interactive television industries, Andy became intrigued by mobile and joined Fjord as Director of Service Design, where he worked on strategic projects for companies such as Nokia, Orange, O2, Samsung, Telefónica, and Vodafone. Now, as President of Fjord US, Andy looks beyond the interface to help Fjord’s design community and clients thrive.

Andy is an expert in mobile and a fre-quent speaker at global conferences and events including TED, SxSW, IXDA, Mobile 2.0, and M-Football. When Andy isn’t thinking about the future of mobile, he still tries to emulate great scientists, but Andy’s experimentation isn’t in a lab. It’s in the kitchen, where he is working on the perfect curry recipe.
