Amy Mullins is Director, Communications and Strategy at the Women’s Leadership Institute Australia.
She leads and manages all WLIA projects, including the Women for Media initiative, which seeks to increase the visibility of female leaders in the media speaking on their areas of expertise. Prior to her current role, Amy was Senior Community Manager at one of Australia’s top advertising agencies Clemenger BBDO, devising social media executions and campaigns for clients such as NAB, Origin Energy and Carlton & United Breweries. Previously, Amy was a social media and communications consultant for various state government campaigns.
Amy is also a respected political commentator online and on Twitter. She has written for ABC’s The Drum and the Guardian Australia, and has appeared on SBS World News Australia and ABC Radio National’s Sunday Extra. Her blog was selected and archived by the National Library of Australia.
