I love to take on big projects and challenges, even (and perhaps especially) if they are intimidating at first. This has led me spend a summer studying bird song in Kejimkujik National Park, lead large walking tours of Toronto neighbourhoods as a volunteer for the Royal Ontario Museum (ROMWalks) and to move abroad (California and Switzerland).
