Amir joins General Assembly with deep knowledge of customer acquisition (a.k.a. growth marketing) and engagement through online channels, with more than six years of experience in Digital Marketing and Analytics. He started his career in strategy and analytics at Microsoft working on M&A deals and opportunity identification in the gaming space. He then went on to lead Skype and Messenger customer engagement programs where he helped users move through the marketing funnel from trial to adoption to loyalty. More recently, Amir joined Amazon as the Head of Digital Marketing and Analytics for the Amazon Appstore Developer Program. Outside of his daily job, Amir spends his time advising local startups, traveling, and supporting Kickstarter projects.
In this 10-week or 1-week course, students will learn to plan and execute a marketing campaign, acquire and engage users, and quantify a strategy's success.
