Amanda Potter Laycock is the Marketing Manager for Austin Pets Alive!. In this role, Amanda coordinates all aspects of Austin Pets Alive!’s organizational marketing, including social media, media relations, and event marketing. Amanda has been on the client side of marketing in various roles at locally owned businesses since receiving her Master of Arts in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She previously attended Virginia Tech and received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management. A longtime advocate for animal rescue organizations, she has been involved as a dog foster for IDOG Rescue since 2010. A proud Hokie, Amanda lives just outside of Austin with her husband, daughter and three poodle mixes; Humphrey, Bert and Izzy.
