Amanda has experience recruiting people in finance, sales, marketing and most recently technology. She graduated with a degree in english and like most Recruiters, fell into the job after graduating in 2009 and joining a small recruiting agency in Boston as an Assistant. She quickly realized that interviewing people could be fun and she enjoyed meeting people and learning about their likes, dislikes and interests.

In 2012 she joined TripAdvisor as one of the first Sourcers. Her job was to find people that are not actively job searching and convince them to interview with TripAdvisor. Her first task was to find sales people to join Trip's sales teams located all over the world. This proved to be a challenge because of the language requirements, but over time she would learn how to find, attract, interview and hire these candidates.

In 2014 she left TripAdvisor to join Google's Technical Sourcing team. She left Boston and moved to San Francisco to work at Google's HQ located in Mountain View. She learned all about technology recruiting and how to find top engineers for Google's Engineering teams.

She recently rejoined TripAdvisor in 2016 as a Technical Sourcer and is happy to be back in Boston at a company that takes hiring top talent very seriously.

The best part of her day is meeting new people and learning about their aspirations. She is inspired by the people that she has the opportunity to meet and interview everyday and that is why she is a Recruiter.
