Amanda is a multi-disciplinary designer who is passionate about innovation and big-picture thinking. Her career has spanned over 20 years across an eclectic array of roles including education, marketing, graphic, UX and service design. Her transition into experience design came after an epiphanic moment when she asked herself "What the heck am I doing?", quit her job and went on a 6 week adventure to discover her new career. She signed up to study experience design and never looked back. It has taken her across multiple touchpoints, including website, app and conversational artificial intelligence, to look at the ecosystem as a whole.

Having an educational background in education and humanities, as well as having worked in architecture and interiors, helps her tap into art, design and theatre as an approach to creativity and designing for human experience. She is a strong advocate of human-centred design, design-thinking and constant learning, and in her free time loves hiking, painting, writing and photography…just to name a few.
