Denver
Alyssa Klein is a product designer at Teladoc (formerly Livongo) specializing in mobile app design and behavioral health. As a Florida native, she was classically trained in the fine arts before graduating from Drexel University in 2018, having created her own major combining UX, biomedical engineering, and evolutionary psychology. As a designer, Klein aims to improve patient experiences in healthcare across the industry, leveraging digital, space, and service design. While she is best-known for her research on time perception within hospital emergency rooms, she was published internationally for her work reducing cognitive load during trauma surgeries. Her ultimate goal is to optimize human experiences towards a more sustainable future and higher quality of life.
Work aside, Klein is enjoying the snowboarding season while based in Denver and avidly learning aerial silks. She is a light painting photographer with her partner, and has been keeping herself sane during quarantine with camping, vegan cooking, Bob's Burgers, and puzzles.
