Allison Sall
Designer + Founder, Everyday Industries
Allison was introduced to the seemingly limitless possibilities of technology in her grandfather’s laboratory. It was full of ham radios, computer parts and the only self operating lawn mower of the time. It was fascinating.
After art school, she worked in a gallery in Chicago where she discovered information architecture. She spent hours in the back room cataloging the artwork into a visual system. When she read about user experience design, she was hooked. A year later, she moved to Atlanta to study HCI at Georgia Tech.
Over the past decade she has focused on digital product design for retail and media. Using research, strategy, and design she works with start ups across the country to help them solve user experience design problems. Her past clients include Blue Apron, 1stdibs, Gilt, Harry's, Associated Press, Zola, Rockets of Awesome, and M.Gemi. She's found that with the right teams, technology can still feel limitless.
