Allison Hazel (better known as Ally Hazel) is a New York City-based content creator with a passion for music. Her platform AllyTheJournalist.com bridges the gap between underground and mainstream music/culture.
Allison got her start in the industry as a publicity intern for Universal Music Group/Republic Records. She later became a writer for several websites including Global Grind, KarenCivil.com, The Source, Billboard, VladTV, and more. Previously, she was a digital contributor for A3C Festival & Conference.
Allison holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Delaware State University. She is also a member of Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN) and the National Association of Black Journalists.
