Ali is a lead data analytics instructor at General Assembly. By day, she leads customer engagement data, reporting, and analytics at Atlassian. By nights (and weekends), she leads analytics-based courses and workshops at GA and has taught in both San Francisco and Washington, DC. Prior to Atlassian, she managed analytics for the Owner Intelligence group at Hilton, delivering impactful analysis to drive data-based decisions within the Hilton customer organization.
Ali earned her Masters in Systems Engineering from George Washington University and is passionate about combining systems thinking with data analysis, helping organizations to transform their decision-making processes to be data-driven and improve experiences and products for the end-consumer through data. In her free time, Ali can be found enjoying Northern California's outdoors, whether on a boat on the Bay or enjoying Napa's wineries.
In recognition of her exemplary service in the classroom, Ali has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
