Alex Swerdlow

Alex Swerdlow is a third-year at the University of Chicago, majoring in economics. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Gather, the digital tool for political activism. Gather provides organizers with a platform to manage and do mass outreach for their events and calls to action and serves as a centralized aggregator of every opportunity to engage in political reform for activists. Alex was also a co-organizer for the Chicago March for Our Lives event and continues to be an outspoken voice for gun violence prevention initiatives. He previously ran a one-for-one social venture called GivingBackPacks and gave a TED talk on social entrepreneurship
