Alexander D. Per is founder and President of Dataurant, the developer of the Vendor Link and Point of Sale (POS) Link QuickBooks apps which provides restaurants with real-time QuickBooks sales, tips, discounts, house account charges, refunds, taxes, invoices, and expenses. Under Alex’s leadership, Dataurant has grown to support over 400 restaurant groups nationwide. Alex began coding in the third grade and is no stranger to big data. As a software developer, theoretical mathematician, and economics influenced data scientist, Alex helped build big data analytics solutions for technology startups in a wide range of spaces ranging from alleviating peak demand on the smart grid and automated real estate lien monitoring for banks to analyzing cyber security data. Alex successfully launched his first startup, CBSaver, a consumer advocacy firm which provided billing data and analytics, shortly after college. He earned bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Mathematics from the University of Maryland.
