Ajay Mehta joined Wealthsimple to help launch the successful Canadian product and brand in the US. Previously, he was on the early team at Tilt (acquired by Airbnb), working on product development and partnerships. He also co-founded a Y Combinator startup called FamilyLeaf, which was acquired by Origami. Ajay has worked at McKinsey and Zillow, and graduated from Columbia University with a degree in computer science. He's a native of Bellevue, WA.
