The Women Entrepreneurs Community of Los Angeles (WECLA) Presents a Fireside Chat on Valuations and Exits: What Is Your Business Worth?

Whether you're starting a business or have been running one for a while, you've inevitably been asked the question at one point or another: "How much is your business worth?"

Whether it was a potential investor, your employees, or someone you hoped to sell your business to, it's what's on everyone's mind.

But how DO you know what your business is worth? How do you put a value on your business? And are there ways to increase that value so that you get the most for your business when you exit?

Our guests for this Fireside Chat will be Lana Hout and Adrianna Smith of First Choice Business Brokers. Lana and Adrianna launched and head the Los Angeles office of First Choice Business Brokers, where they lead the valuations and exits of businesses in variety of industries, including technology, business services, entertainment, manufacturing, and professional sports.

We'll talk to Lana and Adrianna about the practical ins and outs of valuations like what goes into a valuation, what do investors, partners and potential acquirors think about as they look at valuations, and what are the things you can do increase the valuation of your company.

We'll also talk about the reality of exiting your business: What does it mean to exit? What can you do to get your business ready to exit? And what are the signs that it's time to hang it up and exit your business?
