UX & UI Design Fundamentals in Figma | Two-day Evening Workshop
About This Workshop
This Two-Day Evening workshop is running Tuesday, May 14 from 6-9 p.m. ET and Thursday, May 16th from 6-9 p.m. ET.

Over two live, three-hour sessions, you’ll get hands-on practice with the basics of UX and UI design using the industry leading design tool, Figma.
We’ll start by understanding why Figma is the top tool for UX and UI design, and get familiar with the basics of the Figma Design tool like frames, shape tools, and more.
From there you’ll get your hands into the design tool itself and create a mid-fidelity wireframe applying the basics you’ve learned. Then, you’ll add images, color, and typography to take your wireframe from mid-fidelity to high-fidelity
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have gained the skills and hands-on practice to create an interactive prototype in Figma, and you’ll have a great starting point to continue building your design skills. You might even be inspired to pursue a career in UX Design.

- This workshop is for beginners. No prior knowledge or experience required.
- Each individual participant must have purchased a seat in this workshop.
- Look out for an email one day before, and one hour before the workshop begins with the Zoom link. If you don’t see the email, please reach out to help@ga.co and we’ll get you set up ASAP.
- Make sure you have created a free Figma account prior to the workshop.
- There is no certificate for completing this workshop.
