About this workshop

Wouldn’t you love to incorporate data from Twitter, ESPN, or even the weather onto your website? Join us for a hands-on workshop where we explore how to use data APIs in JavaScript to retrieve and display data from external sources. We will also explore some of the common terminology and concepts web developers use to describe this capability, such as REST and Ajax. By the end of the workshop, we will have created an account with a third-party data provider and built a website that shows their data on our page.
