About This Event

Web3.0, also known as Web3, is an idea for a new iteration of the World Wide Web in which most users will be connected via a decentralised network. Innovations such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and Metaverse are just some examples of this complex ecosystem.

As the Web3 ecosystem continues to grow, we can anticipate a significant impact on the job market in the near future, with a rise in demand for skilled professionals in this domain. With Web3 still in the early stages, now is the time for you to explore opportunities in this exciting and dynamic field.

This is your opportunity to ask questions to talent from the thriving Web3 ecosystem! Come join our panel as they discuss:

  • Web3 technology and its impact on jobs

  • Skills employers are looking for in their talents in the future

  • Type of Web3 jobs (Technical and non-technical roles)

  • Personal motivations for joining the field

About the Instructor

Justin Lee Photo

Co-Founder, Metacamp

Justin is a versatile professional with a diverse range of skills and experiences. Originally a fitness trainer, he pivoted his career to technology and became a full-stack developer after completing a coding course at GA. He quickly developed a passion for blockchain technology, and eventually transitioned into the role of blockchain developer.

Justin recognized that there were few resources available for people who wanted to learn about blockchain development, so he co-founded Metacamp. Through Metacamp, Justin and his team are helping to educate and empower individuals to learn about blockchain technology, problem-solve, and find employment in the blockchain sector. Metacamp has been described as the GA for web3 education.

Beyond his work at Metacamp, Justin enjoys staying physically fit and spending time with friends over a cold beer. His diverse background and willingness to take risks make him an asset to any team, and he looks forward to continuing to make an impact in the technology sector.
