Students will wrap up observations, character studies, and story arcs from the BBC TV series Call the Midwife Season 1. After creating log lines, index cards regarding what we learn about the characters each episode, and studying the structure of the show over the course of it's 6 episode first season, students will critically analyze how the series built these arcs in anticipation of coming together as a writers room and creating a fictitious episode 7 - A Christmas Special.
This is the wrap up of the season 2 of D-Girls Project and the precursor to the final writing challenge of the year - the spec episode, which will lead us into Season 3 - an actual working writers room to develop content about ATL for a new show.
