We’re introducing you to the Boston's top recruiters to give you the skinny on being a star candidate. We are also inviting young professionals from some of the top companies in Boston to join us after the talk to mingle and share their journey into their current roles.
Keith has spent the last 15 years helping grow Boston’s vibrant technology and startup communities. In 2002, Keith founded Dissero, a progressive recruiting firm focused on early to mid-stage venture-backed technology companies. In 2009, Keith launched VentureFizz to tell the stories of Boston’s entrepreneurs and fast-growing organizations, and help people make connections and find career inspiration through the VentureFizz Job Board, BIZZpages, and Networking Calendar. Keith has contributed to leading publications on topics related to entrepreneurship and recruiting, including Forbes, Inc., Fox Business News, The Boston Globe, Xconomy and Boston Business Journal.
Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition and Employee Integration,
David Muller is the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition and Employee Integration at DataXu, a 350 employee technology company focused on helping improve marketing through big data and analytics. In his role at Dataxu, Dave is responsible for making sure that from first interaction through onboarding, new hires at DataXu have a transparent, informative & supportive integration into their DataXu careers.
Prior to his role at DataXu, Dave was the senior director of global recruiting at Rapid7, a Boston based security and analytics leader and perennial winner of both local and national “best places to work” awards over the past 5 years. Over the course of his career, Dave has also worked as heads of talent acquisition for Cengage Learning, a $5B in revenue educational technology company and Fidelity investments, one of the worlds largest provide of workplace savings plans and brokerages.
Dave has a BS degree in English from Brandeis university and despite having lived in 6 states over the course of his career, is a native New Englander where he resides in Hingham with his wife, son and impressive collection of landscaping toys.
TechGen is the exclusive intern marketplace that connects the best local students with the hottest local companies. The marketplace operates both online and offline. The online component facilitates internship matching while the offline component includes events, workshops and meetups to connect students across campuses and with the local innovation ecosystem.
