Stephen is a Lead Instructor for GA in Melbourne, Australia and co-founder of Smithfield Digital; specialising in digital marketing in-house consultancy and custom training.

Combining 20 years digital marketing and education experience in the UK and Australia, Stephen’s trained, consulted and advised some of Australia’s biggest brands on the most effective digital sales and marketing strategies for profitable results.

In early 2016, he co-founded Smithfield Digital - bringing unique energy and fresh ideas, they create innovative, extra-lively workshops that will help you nail your use of digital, social, search and mobile channels.

NAB, Westfield, PSC and Tennis Australia are just some of the businesses that trust him to regularly work with their teams to achieve their digital marketing goals and reach their potential.

As well as leading General Assembly’s range of on-campus and remote Digital Marketing courses Stephen also runs a series of high-energy, practical workshops throughout the year and is a regular guest speaker at industry events and meetups.

In recognition of his exemplary service in the classroom, Stephen has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
