Have you ever been told your work is great, and you’d be promoted if only you could raise your “EQ”? Perhaps you’re wondering what the fuss is about when you're "just being honest." Do you suspect difficulties with interpersonal skills is holding you back in other aspects of your life as well?
This workshop will help you to shift how you interpret failures, discover opportunities for flexibility and adaptability, and boost your skills in deciphering nonverbal data. Through hands-on activities, you will find new ways to work better in teams, and increase your confidence in making responsive choices.
Experienced improvisers seem to use magic on stage, but they are really using a simple framework to guide their choices. Join us to learn how to leverage this framework to nail those pesky "soft skills." Please arrive in comfortable clothing and be prepared to laugh--improv is often lots of fun, too.
After the session, attendees will be able to:
Read nonverbal cues for emotion Turn missteps into opportunities Create your own soft-skills improvement plan
