About This Class

Understanding metrics, stats and social analytics is key to creating, monitoring and adjusting social strategy and goals. With this in mind, digital marketers must know what they are looking for, which stats impact their previously set goals and how they can use analytics to fine-tune their content, engage with users and enhance their social presence. This class will cover the basics of understanding social metrics, their importance and how to use them to make stand out social presences, topnotch campaigns and stronger connections with users.

  • An understanding of how to find basic analytics for social media platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Examples of how to present social analytics internally and for clients
  • A knowledge of what the metrics being reported mean, i.e. impressions vs. reach vs. engagement
  • Tips on how to use analytics to enhance and advance social media strategies and approaches
  • How to increase content reach through social advertising (this will be a small/brief portion)

Preparation

Understanding of and experience with posting and monitoring on social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. You do not need to have analytics background or focus.

This workshop will be completely live and online. In preparation, please download Zoom and Slack.

Along the way he managed countless digital campaigns and built 2 digital performance departments from the ground-up, working with a diverse portfolio of local and multi-national companies – including some of the world’s biggest advertisers: Unilever, Volkswagen and Etihad Airways. Moreover, he is a huge start-up enthusiast, helping promising startups to rise off the ground.

Sotirios is a life-long learner, holding a MSc in Strategic Marketing from Cardiff University (UK), a CAM in Digital Campaign Planning from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and a BSc in International Economic Relations and Development from Democritus University of Thrace (Greece).
