About This Class

Users will be walked through Sketch design and workflow elements, tools, and other UX/UI essentials. We will also discuss best practices, workflow strategy, and current resources. Start designing apps immediately with this in-depth exploration and workshop.

This class is ideal for UX professionals, graphic designers, web designers, entrepreneurs, and multi-disciplinary creative professionals.

Prereqs & Preparation

  • Required: Participants should have downloaded a free trial of Sketch to be able to explore the techniques in class. (Sketch is not currently supported for PC users)

  • Recommended: Basic understanding of UX and design. Some previous experience with design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc).

About the Instructor

Cory Malnarick Photo

UX Designer

Cory Malnarick is a User Experience Designer for software and service products. He has worked in agency, corporate, and freelance environments for companies such as General Assembly, World Bicycle Relief, Torque Digital, and VSA Partners. Cory graduated from Dominican University with a degree in Philosophy and English, and completed General Assembly’s User Experience Design Immersive course. When he isn’t doodling on whiteboards, he can be found riding his bike around Logan Square, taking pictures of walls, and taking on his next big side project.
