About this event

Are you looking for ways to bring purpose into your work but need help getting started? Are you passionate about an issue but unsure how to make a difference?

In this interactive session, you'll discover how to move from overwhelm to impact. Whether you're looking to make everyday change, be a force for good at work or make impact into your side hustle, you'll have time to reflect and plan.

The workshop takes inspiration from design-thinking methods and is informed by facilitator Lianne's broad experience in the non-profit sector. It will take you from thinking about your purpose in the broadest sense, to exploring solutions and committing to action.

You'll cover background topics including: • How to apply growth mindset to change making • Avoiding imposter syndrome in your activism • What on earth the Sustainable Development Goals are (and why they matter)

Throughout the session you'll apply these learnings to your own situation. By the end of the session you will have developed an action plan which: • Identifies the issues you want to focus on • Captures a broad range of potential actions you could take • Hones in on a small number of achievable goals

Whether you consider yourself an activist (or more of a slacktivist) this session will help anyone take purpose and impact to the next level.
