Applying basic tenets of Positive Psychology during design evaluations can help teams cooperate and be more productive. This means that evaluators must discuss the positive aspects of the design at least as much as the negative.
This class is best of anyone, but specially for individuals involved in the development & design processes. The outline of the class will be as follows:
Overview of positive psychology.
Examples of how to apply positive psych to the design process.
Apply examples to their own and their partner's designs. (They will work in pairs and evaluate each other's designs.)
Generate new ideas for applying positive psych to the design process and share ideas with class.
Apply those examples to their own and their partner's designs.
