As a product manager, owner, or leader, you are responsible for bringing your organization through the new product creation cycle including brainstorming, testing, prototyping, building and shipping. As a whole, the process is good. However, when these steps become so regulated, rigid, and structured, is there room to course correct?
“Sometimes product discovery is straight-forward. Other times it is extremely difficult. In my experience, it’s not so hard to discover and validate the market opportunity, but often it’s very challenging to discover the solution. Even with the help of great designers and great engineers, some problems are just truly hard (at least many of the ones worth pursuing).” - Marty Cagan
