It’s no secret that this year has done a number on pretty much everyone. Whether you got made redundant, have been working from home since March, or are caring for dependents, chances are that you’re feeling more stressed than usual.
When the stress is prolonged over a period of time, it can lead to mental and physical exhaustion that is hard to recover from - this is called burnout. Chances are you’re burnt out if you’ve been feeling drained (or like you’ve hit a wall), lost motivation and energy, and are feeling detached from work that you otherwise enjoyed.
