About this class

Networking is the most effective way to get a new job or find a new opportunity. This workshop will teach you the basics of effective networking and then help you tailor your approach to your job search.

Whether you are in an immediate job search or thinking about a longer term career switch, you will learn how to plan your networking strategically and how to be memorable and create a positive impression. Job seekers will learn how to talk about a job search without without seeming desperate or pushy. Career switchers will learn how to inquire about longer-term job options and build ongoing relationships with potential employers.

There will be an optional practice portion at the end of the class.
