About this workshop

Ready to step into the world of motion design?

Motion Design & Animation are omnipresent. We see it in social media, TV, and film. More recently, it shapes our experience with our devices. As a result, increasing numbers of businesses are realizing that a great animation matters to their brand, their customers, and their success.

In this workshop, students will receive a hands-on introduction to what motion design & animation is, why it matters, and several key features of these examples. Through a blend of lecture slides, video examples, and process overview, students will learn to see motion design & animation with a critical eye. Through lecture, students will learn to make better choices about their own work (whether for UX or TV & film) so that they can create impact through motion design and animation.

Prereqs & Preparation

No prior knowledge of motion design & animation theory is assumed or required. This is a lecture based workshop and all levels are welcome to join.
