    About this event

So you think you have the next big, game-changing idea, and are now looking for investors to make that vision a reality? The truth of the matter is the road to securing the capital to materialize your big idea might not be as smooth as you have hoped.

Early-stage investors can be awfully hard to find, and when you do find them, it's even tougher to get investment dollars out of them. Still, despite facing enormous risks, investors do fork-out millions of dollars to untested ventures with the hope that they will eventually transform into the next big thing. So, what exactly prompts investors to pull out their checkbooks? And more importantly, how can you make sure your start-up ideas are well-positioned to clinch those precious dollars?

We’ve assembled an expert panel of Angels, Venture Capitalists, and CVCs who have invested in dozens of companies in the region, with a few exits under their belt. Our panelists will discuss how the Singapore start-up ecosystem has evolved over the years, the industries that are primed for disruption and emerging trends to note, how investors invest in a post-pandemic world, and most importantly, when and how startups should seek investment.
