Note-taking is a natural skill we all use to expand our mind—so natural that we rarely think of ways to extract all the benefits it has to offer. With an emphasis on visual thinking, sketchnoting, a method popular amongst user experience designers, provides a way of extracting more value from your notes. In this workshop, we’ll introduce the fundamentals of sketchnoting and provide a frame of understanding through live exercises and practice.
This is a beginner class. No drawing skills are needed, but a strong desire for learning and creative thinking as well as being open to share, sketch and write in unconventional ways is encouraged.
No preparation is needed. You'll be provided with a gel tip marker, a dual-tip marker for shading and paper for your sketches.
