About this class

Class Overview: What is ‘design’? Is it a logo? A Wordpress theme? An innovative UI? In today’s competitive web environment, designing an interface that is both engaging and easy to navigate is crucial. Design for Non-Designers at General Assembly is structured to teach students about the fundamental concepts of graphic design and how to discuss these ideas using key terminology. Student Takeaway: Students will be introduced to design concepts such as typography, color theory, and balanced compositions. This will not only help students convey their ideas to designers, but also develop their ability to critique designs and identify what works and what doesn’t. Level Pre-Requisites: Beginner. Required Class Material: Bring a notebook!
