Intro to UX & Visual Design for Mobile Products | Washington, D.C.

About this workshop series

Developers, Product Managers, Digital Marketers, career transitioners and anyone else interested in designing for mobile interfaces are welcome to take this workshop! This is an intro level workshop that allows you get get a taste of User Experience and Visual Design.

On the first day, you will focus on learning and applying Research, Ideation, Sketching, Rapid Prototyping, Wireframing, and Usability Testing to design an app within a team setting. On the second day, you will transform your low-fidelity wireframes into high fidelity mockups using Visual Design tools and practices. Get ready to learn best practices and quick tips to create quality mockups in a fast-paced work environment.

Laptop Instructions: You should install the trial version of Sketch if you have a Macbook or install the trial version of Adobe Illustrator if you have a PC. To maximize your trial versions, please wait until 2 days before the workshop to download your software of choice.
