About the Instructor

Anshu Bantra Photo

Senior Analyst, Bushfire Recovery Victoria

17 years working experience in various things IT. Recognised as an Excel and data analysis expert with exceptional analysis, reporting, data management and dashboard creation skills. I have trained and mentored professionals around the globe to solve real-world data challenges.

My relationship with Excel started as a strong hate relation during my college days, with my strong dislike for the piece of software. However, only with my landing into the shoes of Project Manager did I realise what data meant and how Excel complimented and unrevealed what data had to tell. I fell in love with Excel and Data Analysis, and, I am still learning it, every single day!!!

Recently moved to Australia, I took up teaching to network with people, but found this is the best way to learn even more. So now I work two jobs, full time day job as a Data & Reports Analyst and part time teaching and delivering workshops at General Assembly.

In recognition of his exemplary service in the classroom, Anshu has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
