About this event

This Women's History Month, we're all about taking up space. Boldly claiming who we are. Making sure our story reflects our full value. Join Women Catalysts and General Assembly for an interactive workshop on how to write a bio that showcases just how awesome you are (and that people actually want to read).

The truth is: writing about yourself is hard. First person or third? How long should it be? What information do you need? We’re going to let you in on a little secret: the best way to write about yourself is to write about your audience. Because even when it’s about you, it’s always about them. Yep, really.

If you have an existing bio or about page, bring it with you. If not, we'll start from scratch. Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of gender.
