About this workshop

Have an idea for The Next Big Thing? Always wanted to start your own thing, but not sure what the first step is? Join us for a comprehensive and exhaustive bootcamp over 3 days that covers the key steps in getting your ideas off the ground — and what requirements you need for success down the road.

This bootcamp is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, those currently involved in a startup, and anybody looking to understand the tools and principles required to develop and implement business strategies. It will teach you the business skills, startup principles and execution requirements to get an idea off the ground, acquire customers, monetize, as well as how to pitch effectively to investors.

Additionally, you will be familiar with the business fundamentals to grow out your business including research & analysis, financial modelling, marketing and customer acquisition. The session will encourage critical thinking and address startup principles such as Lean Startup methodology, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and the importance of understanding your customer early on.

We will take your business idea (real or hypothetical) as an example, validate it, and evolve it over 3 days with an intense, interactive and hands-on series of modules, case studies, as well as exercises to put the theories into action.

In addition, you will get invaluable exposure to high profile guest speakers, and have the unique opportunity to pitch to & receive feedback from actual investors.

It is strongly recommended you come in with a business/startup idea to validate, develop over the 3 days, and use for your pitch. This can be a real or hypothetical idea.
