Sam obtained his PhD in Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization from Carnegie Mellon University focusing on optimization and artificial intelligence. His professional career spans several industries including software, logistics, oil & gas, telecommunications, and digital advertising.
Sam recently joined CA Technologies where he is working on a fantastic team of data scientists and engineers.

As Vice President, Data at IQNavigator, Anne sets and executes on IQN's global data strategy, with responsibility for reporting, analytics, and data science products. Anne holds a PhD in Research Methods and Statistics from the University of Denver and an MS in Statistics from Stanford University. In the first iteration of her career, she worked as a software developer, software development manager, and product director in enterprise application development. Theodore Van Rooy
The Trade Desk, Inc.
Theodore Van Rooy obtained an M.S. in Applied Math in 2006 from the University of Colorado and has been working on Big Data problems since it’s naissance in the early 2000’s. Mr. Van Rooy started his career in the field of advertising optimization with Google and has since applied his knowledge in advanced analytics, statistics, non-linear optimization, machine learning and high performance computing to a variety of fields including Energy, Security, Finance, Marketing, Transportation and Telecom. Mr. Van Rooy primarily uses R for data analysis, is comfortable doing Devops with the BDAS/Hadoop stacks and Java, but also has significant experience turning his data analysis into user friendly web apps with HTML5 web frontends.
