Every startup dreams of going viral, being liked on Facebook, and featured in blogs. While those are great goals, social media isn't magic, and requires a lot time, effort, and thought.
"Social Media" can be a lot of work, but run properly, it can bring great and lasting results.
This class introduces students to the basics of social media strategy, and explores how it can be used in a startup setting for maximum results. Participants will leave with a toolkit to get started, as well as a framework on how to manage and delegate the tasks associated with social media. We will use the differences between US and European markets as an example of how to think globally in preparation for market launches.
Beginners - Previous experience with social media a plus.
