Diversity and inclusion is a hot topic in the tech and design community lately. But how do we identify the causes and effects of diversity in the workplace? In this panel discussion, General Assembly brings together key influencers in the Seattle tech community who are at the forefront of workplace inclusion.
We will discuss how inclusive teams with diverse backgrounds impact companies, and why diversity is ultimately a positive influence on businesses. From zones of exclusion to unconscious biases in hiring, this panel discussion will cover the dysfunctional aspects of today’s tech workplace and present case studies and solutions that have proven to improve and grow some of Seattle’s biggest companies.
