    About this event

Overview: You’ve worked really hard to get to where you are today. Maybe you’re starting a family, accumulating some money, are working on building up a nest egg. Regardless of where you are financially, this workshop will help you figure out how to start thinking about your income as a tool to build wealth and help you create a family legacy that lasts beyond your lifetime.

Why It Matters: One of the most important ways to establish generational wealth is make sure you’re both growing and protecting your assets and investments. This workshop will help you understand the difference between income and wealth and how to grow and protect what you have so you can take care of the people who matter most to you.

    What You’ll Take Away:

    BUILDING WEALTH

    • How to save and invest beyond retirement funds and emergency savings
    • How to use property and real estate to start building generational wealth
    • How to build wealth with inconsistent income and create a business that leaves a family legacy

    PROTECTING WEALTH

    • What situations you really need to have insurance (and when you don’t need it), including term life insurance, disability, health, long term care, and renters/homeowners/auto
    • How to best use Wills, Health Care Proxies, Powers of Attorneys, and Trusts to protect your assets
    • How to set up an estate (yes, you have one!) to pass on to your heirs with as little court involvement as possible
