This 3-part class teaches aspiring and established technology leaders the basic skills and responsibilities required to be an effective Chief Technology Officer.
The CTO curriculum focuses on the three core aspects of being a technology leader: People, Process, and Technology. The first lesson, People, tackles the necessary skills required to evaluate, build, manage, and retain the best possible team and talent with available resources. The second lesson, Process, addresses the issues of managing complexity (including features, bugs, changes, and crisis management), making decisions, and managing risk across a variety of environments ranging from business, to creative, to technology. The last lesson, Technology, focuses on technical debt, technology agnostic design, capacity planning, and overall scalability. At the end of the series, you will have the skills to be a better CTO.
Developers and Engineers can sign up as the course will give them a leg up in their career, if in the long-run, they want to be a CTO
