Want to work on a UX project that creates real impact? Join us for this fast-paced UX Design Hackathon at General Assembly, and work on City of Melbourne's homelessness initiative for Melbourne Knowledge Week 2016.
Teams of designers, budding designers and entrepreneurial thinkers will spend a day redesigning an online experience. You will combine skills in user research, ideation and rapid prototyping, and mentors from the General Assembly community will be on-hand to help flesh out your ideas.
The UX challenge will be provided by City of Melbourne, and will involve redesigning an online experience for the homeless community. How can people who want to access support services find the ones that are open and closest to them easily?
You! Come along if you’re excited about problem-solving, you’re a motivated, sharp, creative technologist who believes that design can be a tool for positive change in the community. No experience necessary. Come with our without a team.
