GraphQL is a query language for APIs developed by Facebook. The GraphQL ecosystem is changing rapidly, which makes it difficult to stay informed about recent developments and current best practices. New techniques like schema stitching or managed services such as AWS AppSync are adding to the wide range of practices of building GraphQL systems.
In this session, we're going to draw a picture of the GraphQL ecosystem today and provide some perspective on the various components and tools required for building modern GraphQL servers. This includes best practices for topics like authentication & permissions, file handling, schema stitching and databases.
