About this event

The start of a new year. How are you feeling about your work life? Is 2019 the year to make a change, or to up your game at work? Are you feeling stale in your work life and need an injection of fresh energy? Or are you full of optimism and energy but need a bit of encouragement to get things done?

If this sounds like you, ‘Getting fired up for 2019’ is just what you need. Author, coach, and creative consultant Ian Sanders presents this lively and fun session to get you thinking about the mindsets, habits, tools and behaviours that make you most productive, creative and happy at work. Whether you’re running a startup, you’re freelance or a few years into your business journey, Ian will get you thinking about what you need to do your best work.

It’ll cover how to: rethink your worklife to get more done; work out where you’re headed; uncover the fuel you need to burn brighter along the way; apply a sense of curiosity to your day-to-day; experiment with new ways of working to shake things up; rethink your relationship with that 4-letter word: work.

“People do their best work when work brings them joy. I want to change the way we think about work and get people fired up in the process. Imagine a world where we were more fired up about work and how much happier and healthier we'd be as a result.” - Ian Sanders

Participants will go away inspired about different ways of working together with actionable tips to make 2019 a year that will go with a bang. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A afterwards.
